This warranty applies from the date of delivery or installation, whichever occurs later.

Warranty Coverage

Taru Maya warrants that the add-on product shall be free from defects in material, workmanship, and construction under normal indoor residential use and proper care. Coverage includes:

• Structural defects in wood or joinery

• Failures in hardware or fittings supplied by Taru Maya

• Peeling, cracking, or delamination of finishes applied by Taru Maya

• Any manufacturing-related issues that affect the functionality or appearance of the add-on

In the event of a valid claim, Taru Maya will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective add-on (or the affected component) at no additional cost to the original purchaser.

Warranty Period

The comprehensive warranty remains valid for a period of five (5) years from the date of delivery/installation.

Conditions for Validity

• The warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

• The product must be used and maintained according to the care instructions provided by Taru Maya.

• Proper indoor use only (protected from direct sunlight, excessive moisture, extreme temperatures, and outdoor exposure).

• Full payment for the product must have been received by Taru Maya.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not extend to:

• Normal wear and tear, including minor scratches, fading, or changes in wood grain/color due to natural aging.

• Damage caused by improper handling, misuse, negligence, accidents, or unauthorized modifications/repairs.

• Damage resulting from exposure to water, humidity, pests, fire, or environmental factors beyond normal indoor conditions.

• Issues arising from incorrect installation not performed or supervised by Taru Maya.

• Natural variations in wood texture, color, or grain, which are inherent to the material.

• Consumable or accessory parts not manufactured by Taru Maya.

Claim Procedure

To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must:

1. Notify Taru Maya in writing (via email to info@tarumaya.com or through the official contact form) within 30 days of discovering the defect.

2. Provide proof of purchase, including invoice number, date of delivery, and photographs clearly showing the issue.

3. Allow a representative from Taru Maya to inspect the product at the installation site, if required.

Taru Maya reserves the right to inspect and verify the claim before approving any repair or replacement. All approved repairs or replacements will be completed within a reasonable timeframe, subject to material and logistical availability.

General Terms

• This warranty represents the complete and exclusive remedy available to the customer for covered defects.

• Taru Maya shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from the use or defect of the product.

• The warranty is governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in the courts of Kochi, Kerala.
